1. Do you stock parts?
We have a large inventory of pneumatic automation supplies; we also stock custom machine parts for customers against open orders as part of a Vendor Managed Inventory program.
2. What materials do you utilize?
We produce and stock machined parts from aluminum, brass, copper, steel, stainless steel, and plastics as well as some specialty metals.
3. What are the types of machining you perform?
We produce high-precision machine parts on a variety of equipment; CNC Lathes, CNC Milling Centers, Manual machines, etc. We support those products with secondary operations utilizing, drilling, tapping, grinding, etc.
4. What are your minimum quantity requirements?
We do not have a minimum order requirement, so if you need 1 piece or several million pieces , we will be glad to fill your order.
5. Do you do prototype work?
We do an extensive amount of prototype work for our existing customers as part of their product development efforts focusing on providing our value engineering and machinery expertise to them.
6. Are all parts volume sensitive?
Yes, every part must absorb an equal portion of its set-up costs. The complexity of the part and the number of parts ordered are key cost drivers.
7. What industries do you service?
We do make a wide variety of custom mechanical components as well as assembly for Military and commercial use.
8. Are prints and drawings always required?
A drawing is always preferred, but we can reverse engineer most machine parts.
9. In what file format can we accept drawings?
Dwf, dwg, pdf, doc, xls, jpg, and more.
10. Do you do part design?
We do work extensively with our customers in the area of design improvement, quality enhancements, and value engineering of their machine parts.
11. How are our products shipped?
We ship via UPS, common carrier, or any means specified by our customer. All our products are shipped FOB Bristol RI, unless we are requested to include shipping in the part price.
12. What about outside processes and sub-assemblies?
We can provide heat treating, plating, specialty finishing, polishing, welding, EDM, and grinding through our network of quality service providers. We also can produce sub-assemblies utilizing our parts and specialized packaging.
